Review by hotel critic
During my recent trip to Portree, I had the pleasure of staying at the Cuillin, which turned out to be quite a solid choice for those traveling on business. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary room upgrade, which provided ample space for working. The flat-screen TV offered easy access to hotel information and was a nice touch for downtime. The hotel's Wi-Fi was reliable, making it seamless for me to handle emails and video calls without interruptions. I particularly appreciated the bar/lounge area, where I sat down with a local whisky while finalizing my meeting notes. The restaurant also served a decent dinner-great for a quick meal after a long day of work. With 24-hour reception and security, I felt secure throughout my stay. The picnic tables outside were a tranquil spot for a brief lunchtime break. The Cuillin efficiently balances comfort and functionality, making it a suitable option for business travelers. I would not hesitate to return on my next visit to the Isle of Skye.
